THE BEST MATCH EVER!

One of the best tennis matches I have seen was the 2009 US Open final. I have seen almost all the tournament matches and I was cheering for Juan Martin del Potro ‘’ La Torre de Tandil’’ as they call him because his I from Tandil, Argentina and because he is like 6 ft tall and he is really handsome.

I remember that day being so excited I start watching the match like around 1:00 and it finished at 6:00 I spent those 5 hours in my couch I did not move at all. I was so nervous because it was his first grand slam final and he was playing against Roger Federer one of the best tennis players and Del Potro have loose all the matches against him so it was a pretty hard match.

I was watching the first part of the match with my sister but then she left with her friends and let me surfing alone. The first match was so hard for Del Potro it just looks like he was going to loose because the set ended 6-3 and that is so no good. But the second set was better he won it so things were looking better for him.

I celebrate every point so hard that I looked like a crazy person. I remember I want it to go to the bathroom so badly but I could not get up, the match was so good that I did not want to loose anything so I wait it a lot until they went to commercials.

The third set was for Federer sadly. I was starting to feel that he was going to loose but then he won the forth set so they were tie so the one that won the fifth set will win. I was so nervous. In one point of the match Federer should have been expelled from the match for using improper langue but he wasn’t. The fifth match was so long I was staring at the television like a crazy. My mom came to see the last part of the match with me and she say to me several times to calm down!

The last point of the match was the best Del Potro won!! But I stay like a statue watching the television and my mom say to me ‘’ He WON! Do something you celebrate all the points but these con on react.’’ Then I stand up and star screaming and jumping all over the place. Then my door bell rang and I listen my sister voice so I ran down the stair and for bothering her I put a face like sad and she got scared because she think he had loose but I scrammed ‘’ HE WON’’ she run up stairs so fast that her friends stay there looking at each other wondering what happened.

When he won he was crying. I don’t know if you have seen the movie Wimbledon but at the end when the tennis player goes running to the public to get with his family well Del Potro do the same thing every time I saw the movie I remember of the match.

Del Potro gained his highest ranking at the ATP he was the number 4 tennis player. It was a really memorable day for Del Potro because he won his first grad slam and he beat Federer for the first time too. He says he admired him and that he was happy because he always dream of wining the US Open.

I would always remember that match as the best!

Not a very good weather!

The weather can ruin so many things but also make them better.  I actually prefer warm weather but the only time I like cold weather is around November because I love the way the sky looks in the late afternoon it so full of colors I use to sit on my balcony  with my mom and sister to watch them.  I am going to tell you a story when the weather make my vacations no so good. Actually that happened to my twice once with my family and other with my best friend. 

You know when you go on vacation to the beach and you expect it to be a nice weather like warm and sunny. There are something’s people expect  to do when they go to the beach like take walks and hang out by the pool and some other things well I am not the exception to those persons. Three years ago I went to the beach with my family to this place is not a hotel but is something like that. This place is very nice the rooms have a small but nice kitchen the place kind of rustic and old very nice. Well I been there many times and we always like to go take walks to the beach but really longs ones  and also jus site there and relax.

 

Las time I went there it was not nice. The first day the weather wasn’t that bad it was not sunny but not cloudy. The second day start nice we were having lunch by the pool when suddenly the things start to fly and it was raining it star not very strong but then it was like a storm. Since that day the rest of the week was so ugly and it sucks because I was waiting for those vacations so long I just want some time to relax but no I have to stay in all the time. We could not go back to my home because of the weather, we were stuck there.

Hopefully my sister and I always pack game like stop, monopoly, jenga and some others so we have some things to do inside. We could go out but the weather was not nice it was very cloudy and with a lot of wind. The place looked kind of scary   because it was so dark and windy and we were the only ones there.

The two last days we were there we did not go out because of a thunderstorm. If you like throw the window you saw nothing.  The day we were living the storm was over and it was so sunny that I did not like. I have no luck going on vacation, I remember this other time my best friend invited me to the beach the weather was ugly it was cloudy and so heavy weather.

 We spent most of the time in the room making prank calls and playing games with her little sister and chasing her little dug muffin around the house that was very funny! One day some of her parent’s friends were coming and we think hopefully one of their kids is good looking but they were not, but still they were nice and very funny. Two days later the weather gets so better so we were able to go out and we take so many pictures we love to do that.

Know that I think about it I don’t have luck going on vacation the weather is never on my side, I wonder why  But anyway I have a good time those two times.  It was worth it!! 

Personal ritual

My personal ritual is that every time I am going to study for a test I have to have everything lined up on my desk. And by everything I mean a glass of water (I don’t know why, but it has to be there, even though I don’t drink the water).  I also need two pens of each color, just in case one goes out of ink.  Also a bunch of blank paper, because if it is not there I can’t concentrate, because I am constantly thinking, what if my notebook runs out of paper and so on.  Also I have to get rid of everything that is a distraction.  Then I go to get some music, but most of the time I don’t even play it, but again, it needs to be there just in case. After I have done all of this, I can start studying. When I am done studying, I do some things like clean up my desk, put everything where it belongs, drink the water, but if I already drank it, I just put the glass away. I don’t know why, but I always do these things, some times even unconsciously.
